Good

Pretty entrance and rooms. It's a comfortable stay in general. Location is ok - quite near to the buses that can take you to main sightseeing areas.

The hotel is located a bit off from the livelier areas of Tainan - it can be difficult to return to the hotel at night when the buses and trains have stopped.

Beautiful, perfectly located!

Great location! Very well decorated.

The water temperature at its maximum was only fairly warm. On a cold day (like when we visited) it felt impossible to get truly warm in the shower.

Victorian style in Tainan

Decent design in Victorian style, very convenient location and friendly staff. Room was clean and contained needed facilities

Breakfast - for the price I payed it should be a buffet not a choice of one of four sets. I strongly suggest not to buy breakfast at the hotel, definitely not worth it.

Glorious hotel with charming rooms

Best is for the style of hotel, and the front desk are really friendly ! Really great experience

One thing is the bed is short not extend , I cannot lay my leg on the bed . People over 180 had a bad time on the bed with suspended legs

the rooms are to small en the layout is strange (our bathtub was behind the shower and the sink was in the room. the breakfast was very limited

The place felt nice, had nice city views, the staff were flexible and did a good job.

The breakfast was copious but not for us. A buffet would be better.

The Goldnen Tulip was the perfect place for my family and I to stay while visiting Tainan for the first time.

Easy to access, clean, friendly and courteous staff.

There was nothing big that stood out. The drain in the shower did not drain well but it was not a huge deal.

I'll go to the hotel again next time when we have another trip in Tainan. I like the hotel.

I love breakfast, their service, clean bed, and the room. Great location and international hospitality.

1. That's a time Tainan city with a promotion but their clerk didn't know that when I called. He didn't know that even a big QR code is right on the account. He didn't know what that QR code was for. 2. The bed was soft but it's really annoying when I could feel every movement of my wife. She's slim and tender. However, the bed, it's just kinda like we're on a seesaw. I felt her all the time. I might exaggerate a bit. I try to find a vivid expression. It's maybe my problem only. My wife slept very well.

room are very very small for this price… it’s a small hotel so I can understand but I guess could be a bit cheaper. just for the retro classic style worst the stay.

Very good hotel!

It’s very new, clean, the staff is nice, breakfast is great the owner has done a great job, the interior is very detailed and done with style and taste! Me and my husband were very happy we stayed there! Parking is free too!!

Great place to stay in Tainan

Very close to everything, extremely helpful and friendly staff, beautifully styled boutique hotel. Breakfast is choosen amongst four served and delicious options (in addition a small buffet). Simply great.

Parking could be difficult if too many guests arrive by car (restricted parking lots), but if you get a parking lot, it's super convenient. Rooms are rather small, but beautifully decorated in style.

A really good experience in Tainan because of this staying in Golden Tulip.

The location is good with plenty of restaurants around and easily reached everywhere because of many bus-stops near-by. The breakfast is good, though choices is not so much. The hotel is also well maintained, with friendly staff who greet the guests in and out and the check-in process is excellent.

Excellent stay in good price

Very good location on a walking distance to temples and old streets of Tainan. There is local busses from the front of the hotel to the railway station and to Anping direction. Also you can walk to main station if you don't have luggage.

- Staff was really professional, helpful and nice - also not too pushy as in some other places in Taiwan. - decor is tasteful - I read complains about breakfast but I disagree. First the taste is amazing, tried all except for the chinese option and the fact that you have to order it the day before and get a certain portion and menu is very variable + ecological compared to buffets - there still is a small buffet. - clean and for european travellers finally a sensible airconditioning. - great location! And the parking super easy in front of the building + unique in such a central location

The thing I dont like about this hotel is that I can't find anything I dont like
